In February, we are finally going to realize our dream of becoming parents when we adopt a baby boy, due on Valentine's Day!
We are thrilled to be expectant parents, but as you can imagine, there are many financial
hurdles to overcome.
That's why I created "Catherine's Cakes."
Every time I make a pound cake for someone, they rave about how wonderful it is and insist that I should sell them.
I never had the inclination to sell them before. I enjoy baking for people, and enjoy seeing their reaction when they get a cake.
I was pondering how to raise money for our adoption expenses when I thought about the cakes.
So that's how I came to create this website.
All my cakes are shipped USPS 2-day or overnight - your choice.
They are all securely packaged.
Most importantly, they are all delicious!
